What they do

Four things NORMAL underwear DOESN'T DO.

They run cooler

A silver-fibre knit with a spandex mesh panel. Cotton absorbs moisture and holds it against the skin - this moves it to the surface, where it evaporates, cooling them.

They hold away

A wider, 3D pouch keeps the testicles separated from the body instead of pressing them flat against it. Air moves. Contact heat doesn't transfer.

They shield

Roughly one gram of woven silver across the pouch, lab-tested to block up to 99.99% of radiofrequency energy across the bands phones and Wi-Fi actually use.

They resist odour

Silver is naturally antibacterial- it's why it turns up on surgical dressings. Here it's the fabric itself, not a finish that washes out after a season.

Laboratory testing of the Majella fabric

Cooler, measured. Shielded, tested.

Two university laboratories measured the fabric. We measured the wearing. Everything we claim, we can show you - including the part we haven't proven yet.

Evidence

Tested, NOT CLAIMED.

This is a category full of promises. So we label our evidence by who produced it, and we say plainly where it stops.

Radiofrequency shielding

Laboratory for Radiation and Optics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana. The fabric blocked up to 99.99% of transmitted RF energy across 2-6 GHz.

What this is: a fabric test.

Air permeability

Institute for Textile Technology, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering, University of Ljubljana. Up to 3.4× the air permeability of cotton, with fibres roughly five times thinner than a human hair.

What this is: a fabric test.

Our own

Illustration: -1.3°C worn temperature

Worn temperature

One month of paired wear testing during sedentary work — same person, consecutive days, Majella against cotton. Average 0.4 °C cooler; highest single day 1.3 °C.

What this is not: a published clinical trial. We're running one.

Half the picture is male, and almost none of the advice is. Start with the two things nobody mentions: heat, and the phone in your pocket.

Customer wearing burgundy Majella

Realno je ogromna razlika. Imam samo 3 pare in ko so v pranju je bedno spet oblečt navadne...

Denis B.

Customer showing the Majella waistband

Sicer sem to pričakoval za to ceno, ampak so realno najboljše gate. ki jih imam. Dizajn je res 3D in diha. Hitro se posušijo in ne lezejo dol

Our story

We went looking for this and it DIDN'T EXIST.

New Year's Eve. Four friends and a conversation that started as a joke and turned into two hours. For women there was everything - products, communities, dozens of accounts. For men there was a shelf of supplements and silence.

The first samples were sewn by one of our sisters. They were not optimal. Now they are.

Disclaimer

Majella is underwear. IT IS NOT a medical device and not a treatment.

If you and your partner are trying to conceive, PLEASE SEE A DOCTOR - that is the single most important thing you can do, and it isn't buying underwear.
